Dear Colleagues

The organizing committee are delighted to extend a warm and special invitation to you to join us at the SAAHE 2013 Conference, hosted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Come and participate, share and collaborate in developing Health Professions Education Research to produce the highest quality Health Professionals for the 21st century. The theme for this conference “Information to Transformation” is open to your interpretation as you relate it to all areas of health sciences education. Although papers on all aspects of Health Professions Education are welcome; we are keen to receive papers aligned with the theme.

A special highlight at SAAHE 2013 is the collaboration with the Sub-Saharan African FAIMER Regional Institute (SAFRI).  SAFRI will be celebrating its 5th year of building medical education and research capacity in Africa. This momentous occasion will be celebrated at the conference.

  • Prof Stewart Mennin  (University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA)
  • Prof Serwada (Makerere University in Kampala)
  • Prof Rita Sood (All India Institute of Medical Sciences)
