SOLVE A PROBLEM: POOR POLICY ENVIRONMENT

Some universities have grown at such a rapid pace in recent years that day to day operations take central stage over long-term prioritisation. Alternatively institutions have inherited a policy structure developed in colonial times that is so outmoded, complex and difficult to influence that many staff either work around it or simply ignore it. As education technology is deployed it is imperative that each university seriously considers how this should be coordinated throughout the institution in order to ensure staff buy-in and avoid wastage of resources.

The resources on this page have been collected together to help institutions develop sound education technology policies, strategies and usage codes.

Here you will find:

  • Education Technology Policy

  • Exemplars

  • Education Technology Strategy Documents

  • Education Technology Conduct and Usage

  • Funding Aspects
