From 2nd to 6th March 2026, the global open education community comes together for Open Education Week (OE Week), an annual celebration spotlighting the power of openness. OE Week provides educators, learners, librarians, policymakers, and advocates with a platform to showcase innovative practices, share impactful stories, and connect with peers pushing the boundaries of how education is designed and delivered.
OE Week thrives as a global meeting point for open education, where diverse voices from around the world – including strong representation from Africa – can list their events on the global calendar and engage in meaningful exchanges with the broader open education movement.
Spotlight: 2026 Open Education Week Virtual Summit
