OER Courseware, Research and Policies

There are many OER repositories online and their number is growing. The OER Africa website aims to be the primary place to find African-produced OER. It is not, however, a comprehensive collection of all OER available online. We encourage you to also explore the other websites we have listed under OER Repositories.

Most of the teaching and learning resources on the OER Africa website have been created by our partner institutions of higher education. All resources within the OER Africa website are free to download and reuse for educational purposes. These resources are carefully tagged according to themes/topics and the relevant licensing options, so you can easily understand any limitations on re-use and re-purposing.
