Step 6. Reflection & Assessment Task

It's time to reconsider the scenarios described in the first step. As a group look over both the list of unexplained issues, terms and concepts as well as your interim conclusions. How accurate were they? Reflect critically on how you might do things differently now with your newly acquired knowledge and skills.

Group Tasks

1] Review your own and the group's terminology/concepts list created in steps 1 & 2.
2] Review the interim conclusion document created in step 2.
3] Reflect as a group how you would respond now based on your research. Consider
--------- The comprehensive admissions procedure for a woman in labour as in scenario A
--------- Emergency admission procedure as in scenario B
--------- Management of a woman in 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages of labour
4] Now consider how this new knowledge and skills might impact on other similar situations.
5] Once you have completed these discussions complete the Integrated Assessment Task on your own before moving onto the next step...
