Step 1. Scenarios
Scenario A: Mrs ‘B’ has had an uncomplicated labour which progressed to a delivery of a live full term infant with an APGAR score of 8/10 and 9/10 at 1 and 5 minutes. Mother and baby have been observed in labour ward for two hours and both are in satisfactory condition.
Scenario B: Mrs ‘B’ and her neonate have been transferred to the postpartum ward and this is their second day in the ward.
Student Task
1] Read the scenarios and view additional related resources such as the photos.

Identify and clarify unfamiliar terms presented in the text of the scenarios;
