Step 6b. Integrated Assessment Task

This integrated assessment task is designed to evaluate the student midwife’s appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes gained during the four week clinical experience necessary for the care of women and neonate during the postpartum period.

Practical Activity:

1] Admit mother and neonate to the postnatal ward
2] Document and interpret data.
3] Provide an oral report to the examiners.
(20 minutes for 1-3)

Assessment Activity:

4] Oral exam based on the above case and data
(10 Minutes)
